Friday and Saturday: DJ set upstairs, karaoke downstairs
On Friday and Saturday at Empire Bologna, Via Zamboni 24/A, two nights run at once from 10:30 pm: a DJ set upstairs and dancing karaoke downstairs. We close at 3:00 am and entry is free. Book a table online; for information, message us on WhatsApp.
Empire's weekend is split across two floors. Upstairs there is the DJ set, with music keeping the room on its feet until late; downstairs, in the underground, dancing karaoke with the microphone in the middle of the crowd. You can move between the two all night.
Both start at 10:30 pm and run until 3:00 am. Before that the pub works as usual: open at 3:00 pm on weekdays and at 1:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday, sport on 12 big screens and the kitchen open until 30 minutes before closing time, that is until 02:30, so you can arrive for the Saturday afternoon match and stay until closing.
Friday and Saturday are the busiest nights of the week: if you want a table, book. A reserved table gives you a base to come back to between a dance and a song, and it is the best option for groups.
To drink there is the full draught list — Guinness, Bass, Beck's, Franziskaner Weisse, Goose Island IPA, Hoegaarden, Leffe Blonde and Rouge, Stella Artois, Tennent's Super — plus bottles, soft drinks and coffee.
